The project is to automate the securities market of Nepal Stock Exchange. The new system will replace the current open outcry trading system. Trading: The system supports Public, block and odd lot trades. Market open, continuous trading, indices, Market close are the main functionality of the trading system. Clearing & Settlement: The settlement is T+3. Surveillance: The surveillance system detects aberrant & abusive trading behavior. Once the rules are set up they are triggered in real time and any discrepancies are notified through alerts. Administration: The Administration system takes care of listing, delisting companies, managing user, setting defaults etc.
